This charming holiday home is nestled in a wooded area between Bruges and Ghent, in the rural village of Ursel near Aalter. You'll immediately feel at home here: the warm living room with a wood-burning stove invites you to long evenings by the fire, while during the day you can fully enjoy the surrounding nature. You'll often see deer wandering by, and there are walking and cycling paths everywhere that take you through the beautiful Meetjesland region. In the evening, relax on one of the terraces and admire the sunset, surrounded by the 1500 m² garden.
The holiday home is fully equipped for a carefree stay. Upon arrival, the beds will be made and towels will be ready for you. The kitchen is equipped with a combination oven, dishwasher, freezer, and all necessary cooking utensils. A washing machine and dryer are also provided. Enjoy a cozy breakfast or a home-cooked dinner at the large dining table. Outside, you'll find ample parking with a carport and a storage shed where you can store and charge your bicycles.
On the upper floor there are two separate bedrooms: one with two single beds (which can also be made up as a double) and one with a double bed and space for a baby cot.
Here, comfort meets natural surroundings, ideal for those seeking relaxation and rejuvenation. The house is situated on a ridge (Cuesta), near the Drongengoedhoeve, where you can learn more about the area's history. Ghent and Bruges are less than 30 km away.

Aalter, located in the province of East Flanders, is a charming village that makes a perfect base for a relaxing holiday in Belgium. It lies between Ghent and Bruges, making it easy to visit both historic cities. In Aalter itself, you'll find charming shops, terraces, and restaurants where you can sample Flemish cuisine. Nature lovers will delight in the Drongengoedbos, a vast forest and heathland area with beautiful hiking and cycling trails. Kraenepoelmeer, a protected nature reserve, is also recommended for those seeking peace and quiet and birdwatchers. Culture enthusiasts can visit the St. Cornelius Church or one of the nearby castles and country houses.
